Kerry and Craig, Sorrento, July 2016

Kerry and Craig married on a hot, sunny day in July, surrounded by an intimate group of family and friends. They chose the romantic 14th Century Cloisters of San Francesco in the heart of Sorrento, an idyllic venue adjacent to the baroque San Francesco church, for their civil ceremony location.

As the newlyweds exited the Cloisters, guests showered them with fresh petal confetti and then the wedding party took a short stroll through the streets of Sorrento to the Circolo dei Forestieri for prosecco and nibbles on the stunning sea view terrace. Meanwhile Kerry and Craig snuck off for some wonderful photographs taken by the very talented photographer Teresa C.

The wedding reception was held at Relais Blu, Massa Lubrense; a short drive from the centre of Sorrento. Relais Blu is an exclusive boutique hotel offering sleek and modern-styled interiors, perfect for an intimate wedding reception. The venue has two main terraces and a roof terrace, with the most spectacular and breath-taking views along the coastline and across the sea to the islands of Capri and Ischia. The aperitif was served on the roof terrace and the wedding breakfast followed soon after on the Capri terrace, with the tables dressed in crisp white linens featuring individual, personalised bottles of limoncello to mark the special day. The sunset at Relais Blu is renowned for being ‘out of this world’ and it did not disappoint! The speeches and cutting of the cake were also wonderful and the newlyweds also had a Polaroid station to capture every fun moment!

The wedding party danced the night away by the infinity pool, with music from an acoustic band featuring bass, guitar, drums and vocals. A truly stunning wedding for a fantastic couple that we were privileged to help plan! Thank you Kerry and Craig!
