Rachel and Cort, Ravello Wedding, Palazzo Avino, August 2017

Rachel and Cort celebrated their wedding on a hot August day in the enchanting town of Ravello on the Amalfi Coast. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they had travelled from Texas, United States to enjoy an intimate ceremony and wedding banquet at the magnificent Palazzo Avino.

Palazzo Avino is a 12th century Italian villa tucked away in the hill top town of Ravello perched high on the cliffs, 350 meters above the sparkling Mediterranean and overlooking some of the coast’s most picturesque villages. Originally the home of the wealthy Sasso family, the Palazzo has strong historic connections with artists, music lovers and celebrities alike.

The bridal preparations began for Rachel in the early afternoon with hairstylist Alessandro Mancino and make up artist Zoe Graham taking perfect care of the bridal party.

The intimate ceremony took place on the beautiful Vimini Terrace which offers the most stunning backdrop scenery of the mountains and sea. Complemented by a framed floral arrangement featuring a burgundy, blush, fuchsia, and gold colour scheme and pillar candles, it truly was the most romantic and perfect setting in which to exchange their important wedding vows. The ceremony featured some beautiful and emotive readings and was accompanied by soft music from a violinist.

Post ceremony the guests enjoyed cocktails and canapés as they offered their congratulations to the newly weds and gathered together for some incredible photo moments with talented photographer Enzo Campitelli and his team.

The wedding banquet was held on the hotel’s Rossellini Restaurant terrace and featured an imperial table adorned with a stunning floral arrangement by Giovanni Castellano perfectly complemented by personalised bottles of limoncello for all to enjoy.

With thanks to Rachel and Cort for letting us share in the magic of your day. It was beautiful in every way.
