Meika & Scott, Sorrento wedding, August 2017

Meika and Scott married on a beautifully hot August day in Sorrento and choose to have their intimate wedding ceremony inside the elegant Sala degli Specchi of the Museo Correale. Their wedding reception was held on the panoramic terrace of the Grand Hotel Ambasciatori.

The civil ceremony featured musical accompaniment from traditional guitar and mandolin players and stunning floral decorations from local florist Giovanni Castellano. After the ceremony the wedding party enjoyed some time in the pretty gardens of the Museo and a glass or two of cold prosecco, whilst the newlyweds had some time for photos. The Neapolitan Duo led all guests post refreshments in song along a secret path that leads you into the gardens of the Grand hotel Ambasciatori and ends on the beautiful panoramic Belvedere terrace.

The wedding party then enjoyed welcome canapés and drinks and were seated for dinner on a stunning imperial table, beautifully set up with the sparkling sea and Mount Vesuvius in the background… truly picture perfect!

The children had their own dedicated area of the terrace with games and an entertainment team enabling them to enjoy the wedding reception just as much as the adults!

Thanks to Meika and Scott for letting us share in your special day, it truly was a Sophisticated Wedding!
