Claire & Dom, Positano wedding, September 2017

Claire and Dom chose the breathtaking location of Positano for their intimate wedding celebration in early September. Positano is undoubtedly one of the most striking destinations in the whole of Italy and is set in a dramatic vertical landscape of colours; the green of the Monti Lattari, the sun kissed peach, pink and terracotta of the houses and the blue of the sea. The streets of Positano share the same explosion of colour and the town bustles with luxury hotels, boutiques, shops, bars and restaurants.

The intimate ceremony was held on the romantic sea view terrace of the town hall of Positano with its incredible backdrop and featured musical accompaniment from a violinist. Post ceremony the newlyweds were showered in fresh rose petals and then, accompanied by their family and friends, made their way down to the sea front. A small boat transported the wedding party over to the beach of Fornillo, to their chosen reception venue Hotel Pupetto.

Hotel Pupetto is a family run hotel situated in a most enchanting spot on Fornillo Beach, set away from the hustle and bustle of the main centre of Positano. Canapés and welcome drinks were served on a private sea view terrace of the hotel, while Claire and Dom took some time with their fantastic photographer Francesco Quaglia to capture some romantic wedding day memories.

Guests were invited to be seated on the romantic garden restaurant terrace and enjoyed a three course wedding meal featuring of course the finest local ingredients. Following the cutting of the cake, guests enjoyed some drinks and dancing under the stars!
Thank you Claire and Dom for letting us share in your wonderful wedding day!
